Herold tuba?

I have come across an Eb tuba, three valves, non compensating, brand name ‘Herold’... Anybody who knows anything? The horn is obviously a cheapo starter model, probably from the 1970s, with serial number 57968. Google tells me nothing about brand/manufacturer, although there is an old brand named ‘Meinel & Herold’....
