Wearing the Wessex Dolce case

Could someone post a video demonstrating how to configure the straps on the Dolce case for back-wearing? I played on a large university campus this weekend and had to walk a good bit with my horn and other "stuff." As I am considerably smaller than most low brass players, it is extremely awkward to carry it on my side. (Like it's barely above the ground.) Having become quite adept at baby-wearing in recent years, I was hopeful that back-wearing a euphonium wouldn't be so bad. And honestly - it was better than side-carrying. But for lack of instructions or spatial reasoning or mechanical aptitude, I couldn't get the shoulder paid in the right place and it really hurt. Any tips out there? Bonus points for any kind of visual!

Can you take a photo of how the case looks on the straps side? Might be helpful. I do not own a Wessex case, but I doubt it's be too much a difference than my JP pro case

It is not too difficult to configure. I will post a photo later today of how I have attached the carrying straps to my Wessex

Ensure that the shoulder pads of the strap is hooked in at the hooks on either side of the bell. The bottom end of the straps hooked into the rings at the opposite end of the bell.. Hope this helps

Usually you have to wrangle yourself into the thing, by holding it up a bit and working both arms thru the respective straps, so it sits squarely on your back like a military field pack. Bell end up.

I saw this photo of the wessex gig bag, not sure if the straps are clear enough to be referred. but it's there!

Don't feel bad. If they're still using the standard for Jin Bao euph case strap set-up, you're only one in a long line of those it's driven crazy. When I got my Mack Brass euph, I tried to put the straps on it and just couldn't handle it. I got a gig bag with reasonable straps (which was a better idea anyway). I don't know what it is about the Chinese line of euph cases/bags. All of the other instruments have straps that seem to make sense.

That reminds me, the China made gig bag I had, Jinchuan, had the same issue with straps. They were terrible and the metal clasp of the strap that connects to the bag digs into my shoulders rather badly. That was why I never bothered slinging it. Been hugging my gig bag every time, until I got the JP Pro case.
