XSS Auditor Errors

HEY DAVE: A couple of my recent posts have resulted in an error page saying that "ERR_BLOCKED_BY_XSS_AUDITOR".

Is there maybe a recent security update on your side that may be causing this? My posts are being accepted, but the usual page that displays in response to a post is an error page.

It appears to be only in Chrome (or Vivaldi, which uses Chrome's foundation). Anyone who encounters this, please report it here and what action you were attempting when you see it.

This morning I was not able to update the blog post I just did, so I switched to Firefox and it worked fine.

There is nothing I can find on the forum's code that has changed lately, so I assume Google's algorithms have changed very recently. I'm not going to open a ticket with the forum's programmers until I know a little more.

I found a report of errors like this for this forum's software...from 2017!

Yeah, it looks like the same bug re-emerging -- as recently as a couple of months ago. It may have to do with embedding links -- or embedding links as part of an edit of an existing post. Not sure.
