    Nice pics! I see you've added some 'heat shrink tubing' to the top portion of your springs. I've done that too and it really quieted down a bit of rattle on my 1st valve.

    That is actually the coating on my Mead springs, which runs the length of the spring. It's stretching a bit, which I assume means it may fail at some point.

  7. I've never heard of Spitballs before! Well I mean I have, but it meant something completely different in elementary school. I'll try that out! Thanks for the tip!
