    Adams E1 Leakage

I am having water leak through where the lead pipe and the receiver meet up on my Adams E1. Any suggestions/fixes? Thanks everyone!

If your mouthpiece fits correctly, then it has to be leaking around the adjustable gap receiver. So loosen the set screw and remove the AGR completely. Put some slide grease on the threads and reassemble. That should do it!

+2 to what Dave said, and also just a good idea in any event to keep the AGR greased as it may freeze up without grease and/or some movement now and then.

It may also freeze up if you send your horn off to the horn doctor for what was supposed to be a month, and now it is going on three months without a word on when it is coming back!
