I'm still loving it - I tried a ton of horns side-by-side with it at ITEC and I didn't find one I liked the sound of better (for me, at least). After playing the horn for a while now, I feel like the intonation quirks are a little similar to a Besson Sovereign - the first-valve Eb above the staff runs a bit sharp, while the one in the staff runs the tiniest bit flat. Easily correctable, and a far cry from the painfully flat concert A my Willson had. In hindsight I should've asked Dave if he'd wanted to give it a spin for the sake of his intonation chart.
As for the "buzz" people have reported hearing. I may have found the culprit. The Geneva's slides all seem to be a little on the loose side out of the factory. This is especially apparent in the main (trigger) slide. I began to hear it as the initial grease wore off and immediately started freaking out, putting my hand on every surface possible. I found when I held onto the main slide, there was no buzz. Applied a thick grease to the slide and it stopped. For a while. Eventually had Martin Wilk tighten the slide up a bit, and the issue was cleared right up.
