    The Tank flight case

Has anyone had experience with "The Tank" flight cases? I'm considering buying one but I'd love to get some feedback.

Price listed is $1,259! Why not buy a seat on the plane for the euphonium? I've heard that cellists do that and strap the instrument case in the seat next to them.

Because after a few flights, the seat will have exceeded the cost of the case considerably.
