Euph part in "Por una cabeza"

Our next concert series theme is "Big Screen", where we're playing some soundtrack arrangements. One of which is "Mambo" from West Side Story (Bernstein, arr. Sweeney) and "Star Wars Medley" (Williams, arr. Burden). We're also having a guest baritone vocalist singing a couple of arias with us. One piece is a new arr. of "Por una cabeza" (Carlos Gardel, arr. Donato Semeraro). Pretty sure most have heard this piece before. It's a Tango with the literal translation, 'By a head'. Our MD says the melody line normally played by the band will be dropped and sung by vocalist, but the euph part will mostly stay in tact. There's some nice counter lines in that piece. If interested check out this webpage where there's a sound file in upper-right corner.
