    Miraphone factory video

Not sure if this has been shared before. This is about a 7 minute video showing how Miraphone manufactures a tuba. Most have seen these before but what struck me was the audio track behind the video. They don't give credit but I'm pretty sure it's 'Sotto Voce' playing these licks.

    Miraphone - Hinter den Kulissen
    Rick Floyd
Miraphone 5050 - Warburton BJ / RF mpc

"Always play with a good tone, never louder than lovely, never softer than supported." - author unknown.
Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches

El Cumbanchero (Raphael Hernandez, arr. Naohiro Iwai)
The Cowboys (John Williams, arr. James Curnow)
    Festive Overture (Dmitri Shostakovich)

I like how that burly guy handles the whole horn against the polishing wheel. No gym membership needed there.

I don’t think it’s Sotto Voce playing. Two things lead me to that conclusion. First, the style and articulation is VERY German (like what you’d hear from a blasmusik band at a Biergarten). Second is a conversation I had with Demondrae about melody shop where I got the impression he hadn’t performed it other than at the finale of the army conference.
