Thread: Published band accompaniment for Gordon Jacob's Fantasia?

  1. Published band accompaniment for Gordon Jacob's Fantasia?

I'm studying the piece and I need a published band accommpaniment to sign up for a concerto competition, but I can't seem to find it online. Does anyone know where one exists or if it does?

You might check with North Texas Wind Symphony. They made a CD maybe ten years ago with Fantasia on it with a wind band accompaniment. They should be able to tell you where to get it. Also check with Boosey & Hawkes publishing. I think Jacob scored a part for both band and orchestra, but it is difficult to find a vendor for the large accompaniment (piano accompaniment is easier to find).

I found this at Boosey and Hawkes. It doesn't say, 'concert band', but lists all the parts and seems mostly complete:
