Last night was quite busy and I was short on time, but today I have a minute to express my thoughts.
I'm very proud to part of this community! I'm thankful for the work and ongoing guidance in posts by our two moderators, Rick and Doug. And I'm thankful for the great members and conversations, including those from the newbies who contribute thought-generating questions and those from the veteran musicians who provide a nice range of answers and some thought-generating questions of their own!
Let's keep the flow going in 2019!!Dave Werden (ASCAP)

enhite,
All credit to Dave Werden who has made this a productive, safe, and enjoyable place to share experiences. Rick and I are both delighted and honored to be moderators.
It helps to be retired and have the time to fully immerse myself in my passion for music. Dave's site is one of the outlets for that passion as are the four excellent ensembles I now play in, and the time I spend as Treasurer of the New England Brass Band.
Best wishes to all!

Merry Christmas, thank you for all the advices and inputs in various topics, especially thankful for the help in deciding which compensating horn I purchased!"Never over complicate things. Accept "bad" days. Always enjoy yourself when playing, love the sound we can make on our instruments (because that's why we all started playing the Euph)"
