    Thanks and Merry Christmas

As 2018 draws to an end, I wanted to thank Dave Werden and Doug Ruby for their work on keeping this forum alive and well. I'd also like to thank ghmerrill, RickF, DaveBj, John Morgan, bbocaner, and the many others who contribute tips, suggestions, words of wisdom, etc., that make this forum so useful. Merry Christmas to all.

Last night was quite busy and I was short on time, but today I have a minute to express my thoughts.

I'm very proud to part of this community! I'm thankful for the work and ongoing guidance in posts by our two moderators, Rick and Doug. And I'm thankful for the great members and conversations, including those from the newbies who contribute thought-generating questions and those from the veteran musicians who provide a nice range of answers and some thought-generating questions of their own!

Let's keep the flow going in 2019!!

  8. enhite,

All credit to Dave Werden who has made this a productive, safe, and enjoyable place to share experiences. Rick and I are both delighted and honored to be moderators.

It helps to be retired and have the time to fully immerse myself in my passion for music. Dave's site is one of the outlets for that passion as are the four excellent ensembles I now play in, and the time I spend as Treasurer of the New England Brass Band.

    Best wishes to all!
