Thread: Slow valves on Wessex Dolce

  1. Slow valves on Wessex Dolce

I just purchased a Wessex Dolce euphonium. I love it, except the valves a very slow and sluggish. Any suggestions?

Did you clean the valves ? New horns usually have some manufacture residue left in them. my jp277 had some black stains that needed wiping down. Other than that, it probably takes some breaking into.

+1. If you clean it you should see immediate improvement.
