I'll give it a try. If this post goes through, I'm on a different machine and using Safari.
(No problem posting, so I'll move to the problematic machine and give it a try).

I'm done. The frustration is too great. I even had to re-log-in to post this. I refuse to re-log-in on every thread I want to look at. When you fix it, send me an email. Until then, it has been nice knowing you.
Still not working here. I can see my login, but had to
log in again to post.

Seems to wipe out when I go back to the main forum screen, and sometimes when I try to post.

Seems messed up to me. I logged in earlier this evening because I became logged out after months of being permanently logged in. Probably because of what Dave did. When I logged in earlier, there were no new posts that I could see even though it was apparent that posts were made today. I then closed my browser window which is how I get out of the Forum. I just came back, and I was logged off. I logged on, then went to this topic. I was going to post and found that I had been logged off. So while in this post, I logged on again and am making this post.
I had to log in repeatedly to make this post.

John Morgan / Snorlax,
Did you click the "Remember me?" checkbox? I need that bit of information to report this to the software vendor.
FWIW, all is working well for me, so it would seem the fix did not hurt those who weren't having trouble, nor did it seem to help those who were having trouble.
Thanks.

FWIW, one user reported having trouble before using the private message system. He says that problem has gone away after the fix. So I guess the fix worked for some, but not all.
