Besson 2052 prestige professional euphonium Number

We found two series number on the newly purchased Besson 2052 prestige professional euphonium. The first number near the mouth piece and it has made in Germany. This one is the serial number. However, there is another number at the valve casing. Does anyone know what that number is? Thank you!

The serial number on the mouthpiece receiver (0830xxxx) is the serial number of your horn. The number on the valve body is for that valve body only. The valve assemblies are manufactured separately from the horn (same factory though for Besson). The horn is then assembled around that valve body with tubing, leadpipe, and bell.
