I have several "music-minus-one" things for tuba and have used them a little bit. One is a Canadian Brass book and CD, one is a New Orleans trad jazz CD. There are some (very nice) editions of the Bordogni (ala Rochut)vocalises transcribed and edited by David Schwartz for bass trombone and piano accompaniment. They come with a CD of the piano for you to play along with, and you can also get the piano sheet music for them.
As for playing along with band, I don't know what there is. The 1st trombone player in the section I currently play bass in somehow grabs recordings of bands off Youtube, and then mildly edits them in some way so they can be played (and played along with) at different tempos. I don't know what technology he used to do this (I think it's mostly Audacity for the editing, but I don't know about the recording), nor am I sure of the legality in this case. But I will ask him for some more details. You don't get music-minus-one out of that, but you do get a band that you can play along with.
