I wish, but Havasu's just too far away. You'll let us know about concerts and stuff right?

Here is a shot of the 5 of us. Grueling sessions did yield a good concert.

I'n second behind Marie on a Kanstul. Next is Don with a '52 Conn Artist, then Steve with a Yammie 321 and Mike with a Willson.

That's a very diverse set of horns you have there! How do you feel about the blend, intonation, etc.?

Two compensators & a Conn 4V w/trigger vs. two inline 4's. Marie being a trumpet convert seldom used that pinky, at least when I could observe.

Overall there were more "opportunities" for fingering errors than pitch problems, due to the program concentrating more on fast technicals and few lyrical selections. Lots of Sousa played really, really fast.

The recordings will be analyzed when I have time, will report back.

The only person I know who went is Sue Anderson who played trumpet. She has been going to this event for many years.

    An excerpt on Google drive:

Recorded in the audience, performance afternoon on a tiny Tascam digital recorder.
