Here's another possibility: "You Raise Me Up" by Rolf Levland, arr. for concert band by Takashi Hoshide. Not sure if it's available here in the U.S. yet but you can get it from Europe. Hoshide is an excellent arranger and appears to like the euphonium. He's the same arranger who did "A Portrait of Charlie Chaplin" we discussed in another thread.
Soloist in recording below is Shoichiro Hokazono. It starts in a ballad style but about half way through, gets more upbeat with a busy accompaniment.

I like this piece a lot. And I like Hoshide's arrangements, as I know you know, Rick, that our band got "A Portrait of Charlie Chalpin". The audience (and band) really like that piece. I think I will order Hoshide's arrangement of "You Raise Me Up". Thanks for the info on that piece, Rick.
And I second (or is it third, fourth….) the Rhapsody for Euphonium. It is a great piece and audiences really like it. And I agree about the stand out part, you can stand out on this piece, starting by making the opening cadenza spectacular with mucho rubato and a lovely vibrato. You will grab the audience right off by really playing that cadenza nice. And of course, you can go as fast as you can (and the band) on the up tempo part.

Yes, I really like this arrangement too. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the drum set gets a bit loud in places. Here's a translation of the German text describing this piece:
- Secret Garden's Norwegian Rolf Løvland composed a piece originally called Silent Story, based on the tune of Irish tradition Danny Boy, and asked Irish writer and songwriter Brendan Graham to write a text about his melody. The result, You Raise Me Up, became a worldwide success with Josh Groban, the Irish band Westlife and other artists. Takashi Hoshide transformed the soulful ballad into a solo piece for euphonium / baritone and wind orchestra.
