    Misa Mead Story

Misa was traveling between London and Japan (not sure which direction). She shared this on Facebook:

I had a little problem about my instrument.

Cabin attendant asked me ‘is this violin?’ so I answered ‘kind of violin.’ Then she stopped me 10 minutes for discuss for take it in to the plane or not.
Finally I could do it but she said, ‘next time, please say “this is violin” then won’t have a problem.’

    I’m a violinist from now.

Misa has had at least one bad experience with airlines in the past. Several years ago as she was traveling from Japan to Paris, airline personnel insisted that they be allowed to take her euphonium from the overhead compartment and put it somewhere "safe." They assured her that it would be ok. It was returned to her with extensive damages. She posted pictures at the time.
