That’s odd. They were very responsive to my emails.

I had exactly the same experience. Tried contacting them both via their web site and email --- nothing. They finally responded to me after I posted the problem on TromboneChat. So I know they had my correct email address. I asked one more question about payment and have never received a response.

I think I'm going to wait until the company "grows up" as a commercial operation. Even independent of the communication failures, I have some issues about dealing with a commercial enterprise that insists on using PayPal "friends and family" as their means of payment.

It's definitely a side hustle for them. I don't think they will ever be in the position of a "grown up" company selling these.

That being said...I DO own one of these and can absolutely vouch for the quality of the product.

If/When I get an Eb Bass, I'll order another from them. My Pink/Blue combo gets a lot of attention.

By "grown up" I only mean following normal business practices in terms of communication, sales/ordering, billing, payment, shipping/return/refund policies, financial operations (e.g., taxes, duties, ...), etc. I know (and have bought from) several different "mom and pop" or "one man" companies that are highly successful with small product lines in some niche markets. But every small company may have its growing pains.
