Hey Rick, I'm getting ready to order mine for my 5050. How did yours work out with your 5050??

It worked but not when attached to the outer bow. Had to attach around the 3rd valve slide. Valerie offered to make any necessary changes but I declined deciding I really didn’t need it.

That is a cool custom strap on your double bell David. I think it is great how Valerie is willing to make customizations to her straps to fit unique circumstances.

I am currently using the same slightly modified/custom Comfy Euph Strap from my post on 8/15/21 on my 3-valve New Standard, and it works great on that horn as well. I initially thought I would be fine without a strap on my New Standard since it was a bit smaller and lighter and just had different ergonomics for me in general than the Schiller. However when I found a new home for the Schiller I put the strap on the New Standard and love it!

Thanks, just received mine. We'll see how it goes.

Received the strap, and like Rick suggested, it works well around the 3rd valve slide on my 5050 with no issues. It is extremely well made. Shipping and communication with Valerie was excellent.

  8. I'm chatting to Valerie now about a strap for an older Yamaha 321S. I'm trying to decide whether I need the 1-strap or the newer 2-strap version. Attached is a picture showing the 321S bracing and my left hand position. Any ideas which would work better? Thanks

It's hard to know because there are variables regarding your hand size, how tight you want it to be, and possibly others. I would think the best bet is to get the double strap because it offers a little more granularity for positioning. Even though my horn works with the single strap, I've been using the double on my horn and it feels as secure as the single strap.
