Thanks, Dave. I assume it's a glitch; at least I hope so!

But if it is no longer available let me know. I may have another source for the strap at least.

That's a shame. really good product. hopefully he will get production going again, or lacking that, someone else will pick up the market slack and develop something similar

Got a reply to my PM confirming this. He says he hopes to be back in business by spring.

The deposit is $450, but what's the balance going to be?

$2000, plus $75 shipping - just look at full price on webpage. Sorry if not clear. Still trying to work out best system for collecting deposits to reserve

Thanks. The full price is not on the web page, only the deposit. Also, the inch diameter of the second bell is glitched, altho the millimeter figure makes it clear.

Prices are actually on their site, they're not obvious. You need to click on the "finish" menu which brings up the prices of the deposit as well as the total price for both finishes.

Actually, looking at all the factors (accumulation of funds, my own busy-ness schedule this summer), a June delivery is probably too soon for me. There will (hopefully) be subsequent batches.

Unfortunately Bill Ricker has passed away. Not sure what has become of his business products. I have several of them and knew Bill well when I lived in the Denver area.

I just ordered the Wessex double bell. I'll post about it when I receive it.

Bill Ricker was not connected with the new double-bell euph. Bill Ricker was Quick Horn Rinse. The double-bell is a product of Wessex Tuba, manufactured in China.

Sorry, just to clarity - the double bell euphonium is an exclusive product of Wessex. Not a product of Jinbao who are in fact a sub-contractor for Wessex. Our relationship over the last couple years has completely changed. We now have in effect our own factory and team within the larger factory facility.
