It's been a zillion years since I've attended (seems like it, anyway) and I can't this year. But I keep hoping...

I've never been but sure would like to go. Being the time of year, this Floridian is leery of the driving conditions. A few years ago, Carlyle Weber and I talked about maybe driving up together to attend.

Those are my old stomping grounds and band (left in 1976), but I have only been to one of the Tuba/Euphonium Conferences. I was stationed at the Pentagon at the time. It was I think in 1990 and both of the Childs brothers were there and played. I sat in the audience next to Arthur Lehman. Quite a nice evening.

    Barry,

That was a great concert. I had never heard the Childs brothers live before and I thought they were great. Wish I had met you!!
