    March from Holst 2nd Suite in F

    This march contains what I consider to be a perfect example of the use of euphonium. It is lightly scored behind a singing solo right in the "money" range of the horn. Also, it's nice!

    Here are the words that accompany the solo:

    Oh! Farewell to you, my Nancy,
    ten thousand times adieu,
    I'm bound to cross the ocean girl,
    once more to part from you;
    Once more to part from you, fine girl!
    You're the girl that I adore,
    But still I live in hopes to see,
    ol' Swansea Town once more
