    Last Rose of Summer - Theme and Variations - with Piano

    Hartmann first arranged this in the 19th century, and then I modernized it about 10+ years ago. Interesting that this is based on a slow melody by Thomas Moore, the same as our standard arrangement of Endearing Young Charms! Below is a new video of me playing it with Sara (my usual accompanist), as well as a link to purchase the arrangement.

    Thanks! This is on the E1. It may be confusing for a while, because I have E1 and E3 videos in the works. But the look of the horn gives it away, subtly. The E1 brushed finish is smoother, so it looks more "flat" to me (it was a new person doing the brushing at the time). The E3 has a better brush job and you see bands of light/dark vertically.
