    Whelp, I'm back..

Hello all! Well, after an earnest attempt to try my hand at a different career, I have come to terms with the reality that I have always been a musician, and that I cannot leave my life's passion behind. So, I'm proud and excited to be re-entering the music field. I've never been so excited to teach a band camp and play long tones again. The experience of being away from music even for a short time has taught me just how much we take our art for granted. It is a beautiful privilege to do what we do. Now I just have to find a way to get another horn, mouthpiece, and sheet music...

Well that's certainly good to hear. You had too much skill and talent to be gone for long. Welcome back Martin.

Good news. Too much to offer to bail out too soon. Nothing wrong with exploring another occupation as a steady earner, and most full time pro players actually spend a very large % of their time teaching or are in the military.
