    Smart-phone drone app?

Does anyone know if there is a drone app for smart phones? I searched on a couple of variations of "drone" in the play store, but all I got were flight sim apps.

  2. I use Tonal Energy, which has a metronome, tuner, and drone all in one. It isn't free, but it's useful.

Unfortunately, I can't download it. The authentification process asks for the password for a gmail account that doesn't exist any more, and I can't change it to the gmail account that I actually use. Oh well.

  5. Searching "tone generator" might work better if you can't get TE.

There's a bunch of those, but they all change pitch by frequency, not by musical note. I did find something that I can use on my netbook, which is good, since the netbook is usually already connected to the sound system

I have TonalEnergy on my phone too. There's a Tone Generator online that you can select by note or by frequency that I have the link bookmarked on my iPad here:

Spotify has a Cello Drone album that is awesome because you get all the overtones, you can probably listen from your phone with the free service but I pay for premium so I don't know

As another resource, I just made a set of drones files to practice with, and thought to share here. Each has a low root, upper root, and added fifth. One set is low String basses, one set is tubas. All recorded from ProTools using Garritan sounds. Link:
