FS: Boosey & Hawkes Imperial 4-Valve Compensating Euphonium - Silver

This horn was made in the mid-1940's and is in nice shape, for a non-restored instrument. There is minor denting and some plating wear, but I don't see anything that screams to be fixed. The finish is bright silver (I think that was the original, not just an over-polished satin finish). There is no mention of a case. It is in England, but shipping is less than $50 to the USA. Seller's description is below. Bidding just started but is only at a few bucks so far.

ITEM IS NO LONGER ON EBAY - NO REASON GIVEN

I think there might have been a hightto-low pitch conversion based on the photo of the main tuning slide. Not sure about it, and there is nothing wrong with it either. - Carroll

Looks very nice for age, but I'm not sure if these pitch conversions were great?
