    Adams E2

I went by the Tuba Exchange yesterday to say hello to Luc and play some euphs. They have a new E2 in polished silver with a trigger. It was a special order which was not picked up and is now for sale.

It plays with all the elements Adams is famous for: the deep resonance, rich sound, and smooth response from top to bottom. It's been a while since I owned and played an E2, but, subjectively, it seems a little more refined than before.

Just wanted to pass this on for anyone in the market for a new Adams.

IMHO, each instrument is mainly hand-made, although the tooling and some parta are made in computer controller machines (CNC, ...). But it must be mounted by hand, so, each year, with the experience learned from past, instruments could be better. So, a new E2 maybe it is better than an E2 from two years ago. Mine has almost 4/5 years old. So...I prefer not to think that now are better because mine is very, very nice. ;-)
