For a standard hard case that is in the category of luggage (you can carry it with one hand), the Bonna case is about as good as it gets. Mostly it depends on what the baggage handlers decide to do to it. Horn have been damaged inside Bonna cases, and inside almost every other standard case you can name. My old wooden flat-sided case did a pretty good job overall, but when it got squeezed in a baggage compartment (held in place alongside other suitcases, and tightened straps or a net around them) it proved to be too flexible on its sides and the horn got a bit "sprung" (warped enough to bind the slides). If I fly with my horn I'll use my Bonna case and hope for the best!
