Thread: Similar Mouthpieces to the Wessex

  1. Similar Mouthpieces to the Wessex

I just got my Wessex Dolce about a month or so ago and I really like it despite the few imperfections, but I'm not picky. Anyways, I really like the mouthpiece it came with (I think it's a Wessex 4Y). It suits me a lot better than the Schilke 47 I was using. My question is, what other mouthpieces are similar to this that might be able to make my tone "different," maybe darker? Any suggestions would be appreciated

The Schilke 47 is a little on the small size for euphonium. There are many pages on this forum about mouthpieces. Many players seem to like the Wick 4 size (26mm).
