Besson Prestige Euph with blemishes on eBay

I saw this on eBay today. What an impressive photo! I am considering moving from my Miraphone 1258A to a Willson or Sterling Virtuoso but this photo makes the Besson Prestige so inviting! : )

All the browsing that I have done recently has made me a bit hesitant in getting a Prestige. I can't remember all the reasons why but that's the case.

    For the record...

    A. People have complaints about Besson, but that may be partly because there are so many of them around and because their brand identity is pretty high-profile right now. For ME personally, they are neither my first nor second choice, but they are still in the range of horns I would consider, and which I look at anew at each ITEC.

    B. Don't let a pretty head turn your face! I like the way my Adams Custom looks, for example, but that played no significant part in my decision to get one.

    C. Here is the photo that caught jelliot's eye:

Thank you for your perspective. I expect to play some units next week and those impressions will be very important. I have learned some patience and hopefully will learn more!

The price attracted me more than the photo! It sold the same day or the next day. $6663 vs $8290 or so new.

Having had three, if you get a good one they are excellent, intonation notwithstanding.
