    M5050 bag/case?

Hey everyone! To go along with the Miraphone M5050 I have recently purchased, I have been looking for a gig bag to carry it in. I have bought two so far, a ProTec bag and a Miraphone bag, but both have been too small. The Miraphone bag is listed at 27 inches tall, but the one I got (used in mint condition) was only about 24 inches tall, and the ProTec was just too small in general. So I was wondering what cases or bags you M5050 players use or have used? I need to find one that fits the horn before I head off to college. Thanks!

We have some 5050 owners on the site, so I hope they will offer you some more experienced-based advice.

In the meantime, I'm sure the Altieri bag would work. They ask for measurements when you order (although the standard bag MAY be large enough already). They can customize the size as necessary.

I have the Miraphone gig bag for my M5050 and my horn fits fine. It's one of the few that will accommodate that big horn. The horn will only go in one direction with the top bow towards the shoulder of the bag that juts out. Glen Cronkhite makes a bag for the M5050, but it's a bit more expensive.

Here's a link to the one I have:

I have 2 5050's, and one lives in a Chronkhite bag, the other in a Miraphone bag. I would give the edge in utility and protection to the Miraphone bag. Plus it's cheaper.
