Poll: Any interest in a book of unaccompanied solos?

    Hi all,

Wanted to see if there'd be any interest in a book of unaccompanied solos for Euphonium. I'm thinking about 20-25 common tunes in a theme and variation type format. I've done a few of these for myself over the years when I've needed to play something interesting without the aid of an accompanist.

    Here's a sample:

I think it's a great idea, and if you presented each tune in treble and bass clef, it becomes a great teaching tool too!

  3. I think it's a great idea but one already

exists. Have you seen "The Lonesome Euphonium"? there's a treble and bass clef option and is published by Lakeshore Press. It is spiral bound and has 200 songs of every type music you would ever want to play. I think it's a great book and don't know how many euphonium players know about it. I highly recommend it!
