    one of my students

Wanted to share a video of one of my students playing his last solo at the Texas State solo and ensemble contest yesterday.

probably the most talented student I've ever had that did not have a desire to go on an become a music major (which I've never pushed anybody to do, but I have sent this video to the School he will be attending, hoping they encourage him to keep playing) He already owns his own horn, this is a mack brass euphonium

He memorized this solo a couple of weeks after I gave it to him, never had a student that could memorize so easily

Wow, your student Alex did a great job! All from memory too. You must be proud for sure.
