Randefalk Mouthpiece
Hi,
Did anyone try one of the Randefalk mouthpieces?
They are designed by Patrik Randefalk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3cKJNeoT0Q)
This is what is available now:
R1BTB. Rim 27.5 deep cup. (Bass trombone)
R2. Rim 26.4, deep cup. (Euphonium)
R2S. Rim 26.4, deep cup, slimmer rim. (Euphonium)
R3. Rim 26.0, deep cup. (Euphonium).
R3S. Rim 26.0, deep cup, slimmer rim. (Euphonium)
R2b. Rim 26.4 shallow cup. (Euphonium)
R3b. Rim 26.0 shallow cup. (Euphonium/trombone)
R4tb. Rim 25.7 shallow cup. (Trombone).
R4STB. Rim 25.7 shallow cup, small shank.(Baritone/trombone)
additional info:
The inside of the mouthpiece is made to take care of more air-input. Les splitting notes and better register control.
The rim is made ergonomic, to increase comfort and stamina.
I've contacted Patrik Randefalk and he is so kind to send me a R2 & R2s (since that is the diameter I prefer) I wondered if anybody has heared of or played on this mouthpiece…..
I will off course tell you my findings after play / testing.
