    U.K. - Dawkes

Parts and felts and maintenance kits can also be obtained from Dawkes (http://www.dawkes.co.uk/) in the UK for a number of instruments. Even given postage and import duties, I've found it economical to buy felts from them for my Wessex tuba.

I have dealt with Dawkes on several occasions, and they are very helpful/knowledgeable.
I believe they are working on a system to remove VAT for goods shipped to the USA.
This will reduce prices and eliminate the need to ask them to refund the VAT.
If you have ordered recently from Dawkes, you may well be due a refund of VAT...
For now, you'll need to ask them for it.

I ordered from them a couple of years ago and am pretty sure I didn't pay VAT. I think it cost me laround $10 to get something like two sets of felts (4 in each set) plus shipping. However, I'm listed with them as a wholesale customer, so it was a bit cheaper than otherwise.
