  5. It looks like a wonderful instrument, and I've heard great things about sterling horns. I would just like to know what shank size the mouthpiece receiver is. I assumed it was large shank but then I saw you say something about having mouthpieces in the "standard smaller shank." I just wanted to check what this meant. Thanks

  6. I own many mouthpieces from playing before the sterling(my double benn Conn is also a small shank) I have one perantucci pt-5c for this horn. 5/8" shank (around 15 mm)Click image for larger version.

    I believe every Sterling euphonium has a large shank receiver.

    Hello EuphoniumNurse101,

    I have prospective interest in this type of horn as I am looking for a used horn as well. This will be be my first major purchase of a euphonium since I switched from trumpet about a year ago. I will be sure to keep my eyes open on the radar on the horn itself.
