John Packer JP274 Euphonium

Someone is locally selling a one year old John Packer JP274 Euphonium, and I was curious if anyone has any experiences or views on the horn. The price looks quite reasonable (~$1000), but even before going and trying it out I wanted to see other views you might have on the horn. I have been playing a Yamaha YEP321 for the past 5 years, which is now around 10 years old. Appreciate any thoughts you have. Thanks.
