    Yamaha 641S Pro-level Euphonium for Sale $2750

    ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD

I have a Yamaha 641S Euphonium that I'm selling on behalf of a friend. It was owned by a university faculty member and has been well taken care of. This model of euphonium is the predecessor of the 642 and the 842, but there are some who prefer this instrument. My main instrument is a 842S, but there are some things I like very much about the 641. In my view, it has solid, stable sound that is very consistent from the top to the bottom of its range. The intonation is very good and the response with the fourth valve is also excellent. I've used this instrument to play Harrison Birtwhistle's "Down by the Greenwood Side", which places real demands of range on the player.

The instrument is in terrific shape and has just returned from the repair shop where a few small dings were removed. The purchase price is $2750 with the buyer taking care of shipping and PayPal fees. Included with the euph is a gold Wick 4AL, a silver Yamaha 51, a silver Marcinkiewicz 6 1/2, and a black cordura ProTec gig bag.

Please send me an email (my preferred method of communication) for more pictures and additional information.

That 641S looks to be in really good shape. I played on this model for about 14 years before I got my M5050. Good luck with the sale.
