Army vs. Marines

Greetings,

I am trying to get into one of the divisional military bands (non-premier). What are the differences between the divisional Army and divisional Marine bands (quality of musicians, quality of band, types of literature and ensemble performances, benefits, etc.)? I've studied up on the Army bands, but I'm not as familiar with the Marine bands. Also, what would a typical daily schedule be like in a divisional Marine band?
