I have a copy of Benediction by Johns Stevens. It is voiced for 2 euphoniums and 2 tubas. I have a group that is composed of 2 trumpets, a trombone and a tuba. I was thinking of transposing the two euphonium parts for the trumpets (euphonium in T.C.), having the trombone play the tuba 1 part and a regular tuba on the tuba 2 part. If anyone is familiar with this arrangement, can you give me guidance on whether this would work?
