Thread: SOLD: Holton TR395 Superbone - 2004 - Great Condition

  1. Thumbs up SOLD: Holton TR395 Superbone - 2004 - Great Condition

    Hello all,

I have a Holton TR395 Superbone for sale. This horn (S/N 696134) was purchased new in December of 2004. It was manufactured in the Elkhorn plant prior to the Conn-Steinway takeover of Holton. I am primarily a euphonium player and have no slide technique, so I used the Superbone to double trombone parts in Pops gigs and in a brass quintet. I am no longer using this horn and it has sat dormant for nearly 5 years, so it is time to part ways.

This is a one owner horn that has been well maintained. There is some lacquer wear on the 3rd valve bow where it touches your cheek when you play. There is also a bit of lacquer wear on the bell section where it touches your shoulder. The slide is straight and smooth with little if any wear on the stockings. The case is in like new condition. Included are the original Holton 6 1/2AL mouthpiece with extra gold plating on the rim and cup, original documentation and warranty card, and Holton slide oil and spray bottle.

This horn is now listed on ebay at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111796646746...84.m1555.l2649

If interested, contact me via PM.

    Sincerely,
    Doug Ruby

Since it is now on eBay, you must bid through eBay. I only take Paypal. eBay will arrange shipping to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia. Columbia is not on the list.

  7. Hi all, Just 1 day left on eBay! The current high bidder is a pawnshop. I'd much rather see this go to someone who will play it!
