I can't find anything out about that mpc. Spelling it 'Miraphone' or 'Mirafone'. Are your sure you have that model number right?
By the way, welcome to the forum.

Is this a tuba or euphonium mouthpiece? That might help narrow down the possibilities.

  4. I believe its a euphonium mouthpiece.

  5. On the mothpiece its spelled mirafone and i copied exactly what it said on the mouthpiece onto here. I don't know if it was specially made.

It may be a pretty old mpc since Miraphone was spelled with an 'F' back in the 60s and 70s for the U.S. market I believe. Sorry I can't find anything on it.

  7. How would i compare it to other mouthpieces?

  8. That depends on how you would like to, I guess... You could use some callipers to know the physical dimensions of the piece or you could just try to play on it and see how it plays. If it plays well then you're good! My brother found a Buescher True Tone 47A that is A-Maze-Ing, we could only find one other one anywhere. Apparently the piece is about 70-80 years old, and in great condition for its age.

How about posting a PICTURE??? ;-)

  10. The mouthpiece plays well. I'm thinking about using it as my bass trombone mouthpiece, but im not sure how it compares to a 1g.
