Many of you may have seen this before, but... in the scene where the cavalry come to shoot the wagon train, they use the "big horn" to sound the charge bugle. They also cleverly named the player Sousa, who plays the bugle call with a standard concert horn. Interesting movie with plenty of social implications that would have been outrageous at the time.
