    Hi,

Don't know where is the better place for this video but I like it

I found it while I searched about what kind of sound tiger plastic euphonium have. It can't give an idea for an euphonium ensemble having fun. !

Mmm? Not sure if that will help sell any Tiger plastic horns. The tone is not very good to my ears. Maybe it's the recording but it sounds like they need more air.

I agree, I think this video is a joke

Well, it definitely shows you the obvious sound difference between the Tiger and other quality instruments, if anything

This show has completely altered the search results for when you type 'Euphonium' into the Youtube search bar. A lot of anime afficionados are searching for videos about the show, and are happening upon our lovely little community. And it's Japanese Euphoniumists like Kyohei Andou (2010 Falcone champion) who are there to greet them with more "joke videos"

  6. I actually began playing the Euphonium about 3 weeks ago because of this anime aha. First post too ^^. Got to say, I love Asuka's Solo in season 2, which has been transcribed here

I just came from Japan, and it was odd that I ran into this exact anime when looking through an anime/manga shop. I immediately bought 3 CDs on the chance that they would be good, and that I wouldn't be able to purchase these elsewhere for a while.

After watching the anime, I'm glad I bought them - nice music.

I watched a few episodes of the anime when I was a little younger but in the first episode the main character wanted to SWITCH to TROMBONE (she didn't like the euphonium)! Personally, I love the euphonium more than any instrument in the world and this moment turned me off a bit.

She really admired her older sister, and she had played trombone.

It's so cool to know that even older adults checked this anime out.

On a side note, a new movie is coming out end of this April in Japan and probably a worldwide release (or DVD/Bluray release) scheduled at the end of the year. The movie is about the protagonist's 2nd year in her school band.

The author of the light novel for this series has finished the novel for the protag's final year in school band and will be publishing it in May, I think.
