We were taking our granddaughters to a show yesterday (The Gazillion Bubble Show, highly recommended). As we approached the theater, I heard and saw a euphonium-tuba duet playing classical transcriptions. They were set up inside a subway vestibule, so they got a great natural echo chamber. They were quite good, too.
I've seen guitarists, drummers, saxophonists, trumpeters, bassists, keyboardists, violinists, and singers. This was the first time I've seen a euphonium player busking on the streets of NYC. I left a dollar in their jar.
