It is indeed unusual, but I find it extremely imaginative and done to the highest artistic standards. 'Expressionism' and the 'Avant Garde' has/had a viable place in Europe for decades, both before and after WWII. Imagine for a moment: If in this country we had no freedom of speech and needed to express our ideas, emotions, and concerns artistically. (Especially those that were not particularly 'nice' by American suburban or PC standards.

I feel that Piernik is a genius at what he does. He is totally - THE ART - that he performs. Can those of us who perform any type of solo, not admire his submission to his art and his total immersion into the composition and its message?

This is just a passing comment on something that profoundly moved me and to which I felt a certain awe.
