  4. We had to replace a kitchen faucet and the boss (wife) made me get an "antique" one to match other stuff in the kitchen, even though shiny would have cost less--which seems ironic to me. That antique-finished euphonium, looks like something that was barely rescued from a burning house (although I DO like the way it sets off the shiny engraving and tuning slides).

    To each his or her own I guess. I like shiny better.

    I played an Adams with a finish like that at TMEA, but it didn't have the engravings. Very pretty horn!

    That's very cool but I think I'd prefer a more basic finish. I like the current trend with polished silver and gold details like a Prestige.
