    I was sitting here at my computer desk....

    And looked at my bookshelf next to me at a 34 year old TUBA journal with the cover missing.. guess who's photo was on it?




    And then I opened it up... no lie... this was the page i turned to

    The top photo (with the Sovereign) came out pretty well, I thought! The photographer was great and kept me in a good mood, and my wife was with me and also cheered me along. Some photographers had trouble with big shiny horns, and suggested sprayng it will a dulling spray to control reflections. No way! I felt strongly partly because the only silver Bessons euphs commonly imported to the USA in the past had been the satin silver (as in the lower, older photo) and I wanted the difference to be seen.
